We recently viewed this film at the San Francisco Green Film Festival and enjoyed a Q&A with one of its three directors. I know that many people will miss this film unless you hear about it by word of mouth. If you have a teenage daughter, are curious about how children learn behaviors and develop interests from their parents, are curious about climate change, or are a human being you will enjoy this film.
Here is a link to the schedule of screenings for The Anthropologist. Since there is no violence unless you count what humans have done to the planet, and there aren’t any sex scenes, it’s not showing in the major Cineplex near you. You’ll get to see it at your local film festival. It’s winning all the awards!
